Lime and limpid green, a second scene
A fight between the blue you once knew.
Floating down, the sound resounds
Around the icy waters underground.
Jupiter and Saturn, Oberon, Miranda and Titania.
Neptune, Titan, Stars can frighten.
Our shadows taller than our soul.

How Pink Floyd Changed Everything
Much is written and said about how the more commercial-70’s era bands had a grand effect on the times they lived in…the Rolling Stone, Buddy Holly, the Beatles.
But none of the bands of the sixties had such a far-reaching impact on social mores, social truisms, rock music-orchestration and presentation as Pink Floyd. Read on when I blog again.
You say the hill's too steep to climb
Climb it.
You say you’d like to see me try
Climbing.
You pick the place and I’ll choose the time
And I’ll climb that hill in my own way.
Just wait a while for the right day.
And as I rise above the tree lines and the clouds
I look down, hearing the sound of the things you’ve said today.
Carpe diem, seize the day
I’ll always remember
The chill of November
The news of the fall
The sounds in the hall
The clock on the wall ticking away
And I rise, like a bird,
In the haze, when the first rays
Touch the sky.
And the night wings die.
And deep beneath the ground
The early morning sounds
And I go down.
Sleepy time, and I lie,
With my love by my side,
And she’s breathing low.
